Default Got me a new laptop

Finally broke down and bought me a brand new HP 15", 7th gen 7i processor. It was about time I needed one and now that I look at my photos on Flickr, I realize how over saturated my images were. My new laptop has a HDgraphic card (or something), for better image quality.

I still have my All in one desk top, and I will only use the laptop for my photography.

Another reason I bought it, I want it for my Italy trip in 6 weeks.

Congrats on your new laptop. Just curious ... why not a MAC? I'm a windows person so I'm with you.
Being an i7 you got the fast processor. Nice, but maybe not needed.
Main performance gain is from SSD and memory. It is my understanding that the latest Lightroom Classic likes at least 16GB of memory. Photoshop even more.

I've always been a PC man, plus I refuse to pay $1500+ for a Mac. I work for a major international chemical company, and I get products from our customers at employee prices, so the HP was only $500. One very similar at Best Buy is $900.

Actually, I could have gotten a Mac at employee price as well, but it wasn't much off, maybe $200.

Nice - The HD displays on new laptops can be awesome

If you are using it for photography, make sure you calibrate it. A lot of them are default set to give extra "punch" to movies and internet browsing rather then faithful colour rendtion for photography
I welcome all critique and comments on any of my photos
