    Default Heading to Italy tomorrow!!!

The day has finally arrived. I looked back to see when I first posted about an European trip, it was Nov 2016. I have been planning it ever since, and if you are friends with me on FB, you know I've been posting an annoying countdown for the past 42 days.

We will be in Rome for 3 nights, Florence for 3 nights, Venice for 3 nights, & New York City for 2 nights. We will do a day trip to Cinque Terre & Pisa. I've booked a photog walking tour with a local photographer in Rome, glass blowing tour in Venice.

Of course we are going to the Vatican.

We are staying in Time Square in NYC.

By using AirBnB and watching the flight prices, I've booked the entire trip for about $3200. The flights were less than $800 each.

I bought me a laptop so I can process the images nightly.

So cool!!! looking forward to seeing some pix as you travel.

As for the Vatican..... get there early. Seriously. you can waste the entire day in line in the hot sun if you don't. Be there at least 30-60 minutes BEFORE it opens and there will already be a line....but it's a doable line at that time.
