    Default Copyright question

    Hi
I hope this is the appropriate place to ask this. I took a photo of a dog at a dog show. I don't know the owners, etc so cannot get permission to use the photo. Would I hold the copyright to use this image as part of a design for a DVD we will be selling? (and would the same answer be true if the dog were a person...for future reference?) Thanks!!!

YES. You need to have the dog owner's permission to use the photo - especially to make $ off it or use it commercially.

Same is true for a person.
