Default "The Photographers Guide to Light"

"The Photographers Guide to Light", this was a great book I just read. I would recoment this book to any beginner wanting to get better at photography. I know this book should make a huge difference in my photography, which right now isn't very good. I'm really surprised at how much I learned from this book. I didn't know too much about quality of light for certain situations before, but this should take away the hit and miss photography that so many beginners like myself do. I'm surprised at how much artificial lighting and acessories are needed to take good indoor pictures. I guess now the major thing I need to study more is composition, or at least practice and think about my shots more. At least there is this forum for honest feedback.

Thanks for that Realist - I'm sure it will benefit many visitors.

Actually i just looked and there are a few books with that title - I'm going to put an Amazon link but WHO is the author?

FYI - I intend to do a bunch of podcasts on lighting in the next short while.

    Best!

The author is Nigel Hicks. I bought mine at Barnes and nobel. Great book for learning lighting IMO.
