Default A loud hello and a loud cry for help!

Hey ho and how do! I guess I'll get right to the point. I'm desperate to sell some of my photography but haven't been able to find any venues online. It seems like art is one of the last things on people's lists to buy. I know my stuff is good but I just can't get it in front of the eyes that would appreciate it. It's all nature photography which I know is popular, particularly overseas. Surely there must be some people in the business of spotting and distributing talent?

    Hi there Atomicat,

Marketing is the hardest part of selling your stuff. You are dreaming if you think a hard sell like this post is going to anything for your sales. This post reads like pure spam...but I can see that you are not a true spammer and so this post stays alive.

You need to be patient, take lots of pics, and figure out WHERE your stuff fits in. Maybe it's stock image sales, maybe it's greeting cards, maybe it's fine art prints. NOBODY will come to you and sprinkle magic sales dust on your images. It's up to you to do the hustling. And your website is not at all set up for selling your prints. There should be an order this print button under every image.

    Hope that helps,

    Marko

To put it in a very straightforward manner, your work has not yet hit the level of quality that goes along with sales. You have a lot more to learn.
