    Default Starting up again

Well finally I will be getting back to taking photos, getting tired of looking at other photographers work as I sit here bored to tears. I am mobile to a large degree now and a female drummer from a popular band needs a portfolio done and I have been hired to do it. We sat down worked out the details I will be starting the shoot in the week after the New year. She is doing some solo work in New York as a session drummer and wants a portfolio for her separate gigs, should be straightforward the camera likes her and with how I shoot it should be a fabulous outcome.

When it is done I will post a link to the shoot at one of my sites. Just nice to be back at it. My camera gear is sort of in a mess I guess it is time to get set up and get everything back in order and finally get to use the new lights I bought just prior to my accident and then I can start shooting for my book. I have to look for some places to do the shoot so I can look for both projects at the same time and give me a reason to get out and about. Still hurts like a MOFO but getting used to it and with the painkillers I can at least function now.

Good to hear you'll be pushing the button once more AL. It's funny how our bodies learns to deal with pain after a period of time. I hope you can cope with it all ok.
Look forward to seeing some results.

Wahoo! Cool to hear you're getting back to it. Marko has great advice though, speaking as someone who figured he could just work through the pain and then ended up taking twice as long to recover, make sure you listen to what your body is telling you.

That is good to hear AL. Look forward to some sneak peeks.
This was the first I heard of your injuries. I honestly had to go back through your posts to catch up. I am as regular as most on this form, but miss the wrong couple of days and you can miss some important stuff.

I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better and starting to take back control of your life.

I hope that it all goes well but listen to your body and don't push it too fast!

I am so high strung I am surprised I put up being laid up as I have been. I know what I can handle and every once in I push just a little and if it is too much I lay back. This should be a perfect shoot for me, over 4-6 weeks, We have a visions how we want it done, we have set high standards for what we want and you don't rush to get good unique work. We will just take our time and make sure we get the results we want and the shoots are not be on a daily basis but a day here then maybe one or two off. Just pace it out, slowly work back into it. Enjoy the experience, thats my plan .... Thanks for the Concerns but I know what I can and can't do and I do what I am comfortable with but thanks for the comments.
