    Hello All

My name is Tim and I live in Peterborough, Ontario. I did some photography back in the 80's but got away from it. I bought a DSLR last winter and got back into it. I find it a way to get me off my butt and moving (helped me lose some weight). I really am enjoying the learning experience as well as the chance encounters with interesting people when I'm out shooting. Anyway, I'm glad I found this place, and look forward to learning. Here is a couple examples of what I've been doing.

    Welcome to the forum, Tim!!!

Great shots above (I swear the second image was the exact same image I took!!!

#1 is a little over baked in the HDR department. It looks like a great shot, the HDR is hurting it (IMO)

Welcome to the forum Tim and nice start!

I quite like shot 2 here.
I really dig the colours in the first shot, looks like it's sloping a bit to the right though.

    Hope to see more!

My story is very similar, and I hope you enjoy your re-acquaintance with photography as much as I have. Good to see you experimenting with new techniques.
