    Default Hello from Salt Lake!

    Hi, new friends!

I am a music student in Salt Lake City, Utah, and after about 15 years of watching my dad grow and develop as a photographer, I finally invested in my own DLSR! I do a lot of traveling, and before last month, I always carried around my dinky Panasonic point-and-shoot. My dad complimented my eye for composition and encouraged me to upgrade to a camera that would allow me to get into more serious photography, so here I am! I'm a quick study and I want to improve my pictures as much as possible, so I'm eager to see what advice you guys have for me!
