As you can see, I'm new here. I'm from the southern USA.
I joined because I'm desperately trying to improve my photography.. I love OCF and portraits but recently have been loving taking my camera with me hiking. I got my camera about 3 years ago and been shooting about every day.

I figured finding a fourm with people that have more experience
Would be helpful in my learning and have found some bad ones along the way.. lol
I'm thick skinned so when critiquing my images, I understand that honesty is needed to improve and it's more than welcome
I love photography but I also enjoy the editing process just as much and think that being creative shouldn't stop at the camera.
Anyway, I look forward to checking out the place.

Welcome!!! Where in the South are you located?
This is a great place to learn. This forum has been a little slow the last couple years, but you will get replies on question on help. The way I learned was I would take one challenge at a time, bring your shots here and ask for help. Stay with that one challenge until you got it.
BTW, I live in Louisiana.

Thanks, I been putting in the practice and trying to get better but I have hit a rut and just can't seem to get results.

I'm just north of ya, in the Ozarks of Arkansas.
