Default Hello all from Woodstock Ontario

Hello everyone. I'm a relative newbie to DSLR photography. Have been taking photos for years but recently purchased a Canon 7D. Have been lurking here for short while and really like what I see, alot of friendly people with lots of info and easy going attitudes, which seems to be a rarity of alot of forums anymore.
Hope to become part of your community and able to share a few of my photos/memories with y'all.

    Cathy

P.S. Seeing the weather is cold, dark and dreary, have'nt had much chance to get out and familiarize myself with the camera, but getting out when I can.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
As for posting pic's, I have several that are so-so from previous cameras owned, but only a few from new camera.
I have posted a few here that will kind of explain my handle.
These two are from '02 as you can see, and not very good quality, but some of my most cherished memories, which is what a lot of photo sharing is about IMO. Hope you like. I promise the rest will be better quality. These more or less give you a quick profile of who I am I guess.

Little more recent one, different deer, (doe), up at cottage.

And lastly, where I live. Just a little piece of heaven away from it all. We own 50 acres, but are surrounded by approx. 500 acres of bush, so most of my shots will be, you guessed it, wildlife.

    Hence, the nickname - Hillbillygirl.
