Default Hello from the west coast

    Hi everyone.

Stumbled across this forum awhile back and I liked what I seen here and finally signed up tonight. I shoot Nikon and today just purchased a new D90 and so far so good

I am an amateur photographer, however I have had 3 photos published with the most significant being a photo in BC Mag's 50th (2009) anniversary edition.

Looking forward to posting some of my photos for some honest critique.

PS: Forgot to mention in the post title that the west coast is Canada for me.

Well welcome shuttermountain I have to say that as beautiful as BC is, the rest of the country has it's own specific beauty Parry sound and area comes to mind. I've only made it as far as Montreal Quebec but have lived in all provinces from here to there over time. I know where you're coming from however, sometimes the west coast makes you belive you've died and gone to heaven, especially on the Island Hope to see the published work
