    Default Hi! New from Montreal

    Hello everyone,

I discovered this site and forum by listening to the podcast. Normaly i'm more a reader of forums, I rarely participate.. but here, from what I saw, it looks relax and flamewars free!

I always loved photography, but it's only been a year and a half since I started to read on exposure and manual modes. I quickly realised I was limited with my point & shoot (Canon A640), I felt in love with bokeh, but it's so damn hard to get with a P&S!
To the horror of my girlfriend, I bought my first DSLR (Olympus E-410) mere months after having bought my Canon P&S. The camera came with 2 kit lens (14-42mm and 40-150mm), but I bought with it a great 50mm 2.0 prime lens that I use most of the time.
She feared it was just going to be a fad, that I would grow tired of it and that it would collect dust.
One year later, i'm more than never into photography and I carry my camera everywhere with me.

Enough talking about me.. See you guys around!
    Benoit
