    Default Flash for macro/close-ups

    Hello,
Does anyone in the Halifax/Dartmouth area use their flash for close-up/macro work? Recently, I purchased a 430EX II to use for this type of photography and was hoping to speak to someone who uses their flash for this purpose. If you do and wouldn't mind answering some basic questions, please let me know. My email is raven4ns@yahoo.ca , thank you.

I'm sure that you've probably read where a ring flash is better suited to macro photography, but with that said, I recommend (as I often do) a visit to Youtube. Someone will have posted video there that is sure to help.

What are you trying to photograph. Do you have the Canon or 3rd party version of their OC-E3 off camera hot shoe extension cable?
