The topic title sounded kinda spammy but after checking out that you have 600 posts I have calmed down.

Thank you for sharing this, I think I will join but before I do it I have some questions:
1) Can I use my own domain with the site or they provide me with a subdomain? (for example mysite.snapixel.com)
2) Can I upload my own script or I will be forced to use their "portfolio engine"?

You will get a sub domain of your choice, you can't upload scripts or applets, think of it like flickr.

Just like flickr, suitable for 'non web-designers' and the non-technical minded.
