    Default Funny mac vid

I found this while searching through possible cures for my Imac woes. Sadly my imac can't be fixed and apple won't cover it under warranty so I'm building a new PC which should be up and running soon. It will be great to get back to a worry free computing environment. you've probably seen the video but I thought I'd throw it up anyway because it's totally funny and seven months ago when I purchased this box of woes I could totally relate.

CAUTION...F word used a couple of times!

It does indeed. I'm really excited about the new machine, half again as powerful as the imac with way more features, expandable and completely serviceable for one quarter the cost and twice the warranty, plus no more scratched cd/dvd's No more overheating

That odd you had such issues with a mac, I used to fix and build computers for everyone I know and now I only use Mac's and I have convinced everyone I know to go with mac and not one person I know I has had a single issue. Just odd, hmmmm. Well go with what works best for you and if it is a PC it is a PC.

Indeed it's odd but overall this Mac has been a bad and costly experience. I wasn't too surprised at first that it kept going wonky as a PC user I've come to expect a few days of bad behavior bringing a new system online but after a week or so one comes to expect a super stable platform with no issues. but four months of total mayhem took me to the edge. My last PC fought me for a week here and there but then ran flawlessly for just over two years until it died in the night. Pre NT it was anybodies guess, I just got used to formatting every couple of months but for me Win 2000 and beyond made it all go away. PC's are vulnerable to malicious code, viruses etc, but in my experience 99% of the problems afflicting the PC come from browsing the web recklessly. With the Imac I became aware that I was using a computer, I even learned to save large projects again after every change, something I'd neglected after ten years or so of stable computing. I expected my PC to have issues like one expects a TV to have issues. I'm just happy I'm going back to that level of performance. I've always built my own boxes, run down to the local computer store, buy the parts and build, easy and cheap. Turns out I've sort of rented this Imac for about $350.00 a month and I still owe on it but I'm so happy it's leaving I don't give a hoot. I will however have a different take on anyone who says..."Get a Mac, they just work!"

I mean I payed $2,500.00 all in and seven months later the thing is almost unusable and has to be retired. I might as well have rented it.
