Ever donated photos for auctions/charities/causes? If so post 'em here along with the story about them:

    Mine:
I recently donated 3 photos to the hospital for one of the Patient Care Units I work out of.

I have posted these images previously in other threads.

    The story behind the donation:
The staff is trying to put a framed photo for each patient bed (and raising money via a candy stand with the proceeds going to framing the photos) so they have something to look at other than plain white walls during their stay. It was a suggestion made by a family whose loved one was passing away at the time and it is all volunteer work done the unit staff...photos and everything.

So if you have donated work and feel like sharing your story please post here...it'd be nice to read stories about photography for good.
