    Default Lightroom seminar

Couldn't find anywhere specific to post this, so thought I'd place it here. On November 15th I'm going to be running a small workshop and introduction to Adobe Lightroom, specifically the Library and Develop modules. It's being run out of Barrie, about 45 minutes north of Toronto. If you know anyone that is struggling with Lightroom, needs to learn more about what it can do, or is looking to see if it's the right software for them, could you please pass this information on. You can find more details or register online here.

Pass it on? Looks like spam to me? I just think that what forums are for to help those who need it, and not to sell services, but it is not my forum but just my opinion.

Sorry.. didn't mean to offend anyone. I noticed that it was moved to the Off Topic forum, which is great.

As I mentioned, I didn't know where I should post something like this. If you're not interested, that's fine too. I just joined this forum so don't know what the general 'feel' is yet.

I participate in many forums and most of those have a section to post workshops, or at least welcome the post as a source of information. I still attend workshops myself (you never stop learning) and would welcome information as such, whether it was from the instructors themselves, or as a referral.

In the next few months I'm looking at purchasing a new wide format printer. I'd love to know if there's any workshops that offer instruction on fine art printing. I don't care if the vendor or someone else points it out to me.. I still want to know.

Again, I apologize if I offended you, or anyone else. It certainly wasn't my intention.

You didn't offend me, just when new people start to point to paid services, just makes my wonder thats all. I think if you been here a while and more familiar and then posted that I would have not even given a second thought. Just an observation, thats all.

Ahhh.. understandable. Guess I wasn't acting like a newby. I've been on various forums for many years and in most I'm 'established' and no one gives it a second thought. I jumped in with both feet (one in mouth I'm sure) I suppose. My apologies.

I'm actually trying to cut back on some of the forums - just not enough time to visit them all, so was looking for something Canadian, first of all, and with an active and diverse membership. Hoping this is it.

    Cheers
