Default Want to attract more birds?

Ok, these are just quick one offs of my bird. I was just playing around with her and they are not done with proper lighting or anything. Just for fun.

The Lens preferred by more birds?

    Why it's Nikon of course.

I know how to get rid of the birds! Make sure you get rid of the Raivens!! haha.

Thats a nice looking bird, and lens as well. I bet that one costs a pretty penny or two.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!

Actually, no I bought it (refurbished by Nikon) on eBay for around $180.00. It's not a fancy fast lens but it is light and for now it serves my purposes well. It is the AF-S NIKKOR 55-200mm 4-5.6 G ED VR. As you can see it is quite slow on the long end but it lets you play around with telephoto on the cheap. (Ha! Ha! bird pun!) Now if you have a decent flash, you may be able to compensate for some of the slowness of the lens. I just never thought of flash with a long lens outside before. Thank you, thank you, Mad Aussie.

Never be afraid to flash raiven

I use flash a lot but mostly as fill and also to stop the action. Even my stuffed snake series had the flash going but only enough to put a twinkle in his eye

I like your Nikon advert with your parrot ... very cool!
