After taking a look at kiley's link to the Time images of Detroit, I thought I would figure find out how to contact the officials in our city to try and project of the same sort, scaled down to Toledo proportions. Thought I would share what the mayor had to say about our town. Hopefully he is willing to cooperate and work with me.

sounds like a great place! i like this part especially: "Toledo is developing an international reputation as a center for alternative fuels and “clean” technology development. A strong agricultural economy in the Toledo area provides the raw materials and the developing University of Toledo Technology Corridor is providing the intellectual capital for Toledo’s economic renaissance.
