    Default Disk Defrag

This is a link to a free disk defragmenter I've been using for two years now without issue and it's way faster than the microslop version. When you work a lot with images and Photoshop it's important to defrag your system on a regular basis to keep the hard drive working optimally. I defrag on average 4 or five time a week, keeps the system speedy

    LINK

PS... The link goes straight to the free download, but that's OK, let it download, then read about it if you want, no likey...Delete!

Worked well for me on the pc. Faster than MS's version by a long way as Michael suggested.

You and Michael can sit at each end of the see-saw then! One defrags too often in my opinion and the other no where near enough.
Even people who don't use their PC's much should defrag a few times a year.
People who use it a lot should have a regular schedule for it depending on how often you load, delete or move stuff around on the pc.
I have to admit that having a faster defrag program (assuming it's still effective) will encourage me to defrag a bit more often. A couple of times a month should do me fine.

Defragging is fun if you have a few drinks first.

What I am the only Mac user ? I not interested in the PC/Mac debate having been a PC user for far longer than I have been a Mac user but I just thought ........ you know ........ photographers were, well ........... When Mac went to Intel there is really no choice.
