Default Monsanto want to own ALL food!

This is a long film (1 hr 48 min) but well worth watching. Natural crop seeds are being replace by Monsanto patented GM seeds and we pay royalties to them, could they one day own the rights to all the food on earth?...You bet they could....WILL!

Ignorance is bliss...but i will watch this anyway because I feel it's very important. I have been hearing about this for years (Genetically Modified food seeds by Monsanto) and it bothers me.

There's a big problem with corporations. In fact Michael Moore's film the Corporation addresses many of these evil doings in the name of profit. faceless - nameless profit.

Oooooooooh! Never watched "The Corporation" I will have to watch for this. The Monsanto deal seems to be going down in the background and when the SHTF it will be too late to change it, plus natural seeds will be lost forever due to natural cross pollination. We need to be aware of this issue!

I actually think that farmers that have their fields contaminated by Monsanto genetically modified crops should file a class action law suit against them for destruction of natural food sources.

I totally agree! I'm also wondering if this corporation has anything to do with our ailing Bee's?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the farmers did/are suing them....I also believe Monsanto is counter-suing them for stealing their GMO seeds even though it's just blown into their fields...I heard about this a few years ago.

It was written in 1986 before much of what we now know came to light but Margaret Visser's 'Much Depends on Dinner', is an interesting read on how the food we eat gets to our table and some of the ramications of it.

    Hi there Oooooooohhhh,
Nice subject here I think this is a real scary one thinking of it and the power one company would get when they actually do get the monopoly.

Ever listened to the podcast "No Agenda" of Adam Curry and Jhon C Dvorak as this is one of their favorite subjects to hjarp on for good reason.
But I get the feeling that you have listened to them before.

Anyway lets hope Moncanto will never get that much power nor anyone else for that matter,

    Greetings,
    TJD
