    Homework Sucks!
I forgot how much...been going at it today since 1:30pm...it's now almost 7:30pm! Midterms to study for this week too!

I did have an awesome first placement this week at the hospital though...I got placed in Neurology Rehabilitation......what a cool place to work and how amazingly rewarding...some of the most memorable experiences in my life happened last week...can hardly wait to be done with the homework() and get working now!

Wow! Good for you! I need to find a new job, I am currently on Mat leave and the company I worked for closed their site here, so now I have no job to go back to...

Homework sucks but it's for a short time in your life.

can I ask what you are studying?

I loved my univesity days (which is a good thing since I ended up with 3 degrees ) but I was also glad to be done.

Homework is definitely a means to an end....i like learning so it's not too bad.
I am going into Occupational Therapy, hopefully working with stroke/brain injured clients when I am finished.. I am also looking to get my Speech Language Pathologist Assistant certificate as well when I am done with the OTA program at SAIT.

Wow Bambi...3 degrees????!!!! Good on you...can i ask what they are in?

Crystal, that sucks about not having a job to go back to.

Okay.....cue theme from twilight zone now!
That is too eerie a coincidence.
I've worked with Autistic kids in my past. I wanted to go back to working with Special needs children but after my practicum last week I'm leaning more towards CVA/TBI....may change again.
I love speech language pathology...it was my first choice but SAIT accepted me before Medicine hat college did so I took OT. I figure I can get alot of credit with the SAIT courses when I am doing my SLPA certificate. Calgary is screaming for SLPA's right now or so I was told at Foothills Hospital.
I may end up picking your brain some Bambi if that's okay.....

I'm on a workshare two day work week this week, average three. Sounds great all that time off, only thing is there's no money for all the fun things. Still waiting for the economy to catch up with the bankers chant; "There are definite signs the economy is recovering." I wonder if they actually believe that or they want us to so we spend money again?

That sucks on the pocketbook Greg. I think if bankers tell us that enough times, we might believe it...
Mind you I am still seeing lots of Bentleys, Mazzeraties, Ferraries, Jags, Mercedes, and Astin Martins driving down 4th street everyday and BMW's are as common as toyotas in Calgary I've noticed, so who knows...
As long as the housing market stays on the level while I wait to finish school then sell the condo and buy a house in the next year+ I'm happy. I just hope it doesn't get too crazy like it did a year and a bit ago.

It is hard. I can't believe the house prices once you get out of the maritimes. It's unbelievable!
