This is a huge deal for those of in Toronto that are heritage junkies, these hangars were built in the final years of WW2 and I actually worked at this De Havilland hangar for a summer when I was not so old. I was unaware there were even any plans to tear them down, anyway here is the story and here is hoping that they are saved. Now would be the time to do some urban exploring but that is part of why I am in the shape I am in, but hmmmmmmm. And I have some original De Havilland Photos from when they tested their first passenger jet. I will try and scan a few in the next week or two, they are even stamped and I have a letter from the President of De Havilland at the time to a Colonel if my memory serves me correctly.
