    Default Movie Avatar

Did someone from you see the movie AVATAR? I did just yesterday in 3D and I love it. Just great technique and wonderful, beautiful scenes with lovely fatantasy. And in 3D it is quite fantastic - I nearly jumped out of my seat, when there were smoke-bomb thrown .

I found that the technology used for this film was fascinating enough for me to want to see. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was also a good story. The 3D imaging is so realistic you have stop and remind yourself that it is all fake. Most impressive was the animators attention to detail, insects that you felt like swatting as they flew past your face. Creatures and plants that were an absolute delight. This movie was obviously an animators dream job.

Aside from the religious, military, and environmental propaganda (parts of which made me cringe a little bit and vomit in my mouth) this film is AWESOME to watch in 3D.

Just like Lucas, Cameron borrows heavily from the bible and world mythology.
The main character IS the Moses archetype.

Haven't seen Avatar yet but apparently, I don't need to if I've seen Pocahontas: 'Avatar': 'Pocahontas' With Blue People [PIC]

Though I would like to see the visuals as the trailer makes it look like fun to watch.

yeah, I caught that theme too. However it had a much happier ending. There was also a hint of Anne McCaffrey. I also saw the propaganda relating to the environment, military and corporate greed.
And I STILL enjoyed the movie.

I guess being a person that loves nature I liked the propaganda hoping that a few people might get it. I won't get into one of my rants about how we abuse the planet and nobody seems to give a sh*t as long as there is profit in it for them.
