just booked the ticket for May 4-9th. Long story as to how it all happened but I am so excited.

Now, are there good places for a photographer to visit?

thanks Casil. I am most likely staying at my Brother in Law's place but maybe we could take a whole day and then dinner? and if I have too much wine perhaps a sleepover....

I would love to! the last time I was in Calgary (in May as well) the lake was completely frozen. I was sooo disappointed.
