Reaching for the Moon, done at night with a full moon just over the lake. I took this sometime around 2 this morning and it is another statue from the Irish Memorial Park also.

That is a very cool capture. Shows extreme dedication to getting the perfect shot. Very well done.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Nice shot but I would have wished if it looked more moony.

    Cool catch A.L.!
Shots like this always remind me of the "I'm crushing your head" skit from Kids in the Hall. (Canadian sketch comedy show from the nineties).

To get the exposure right for the statue and for the moon was not possible with the darkness I was working in, the statue would have disappeared and I would have been left with a shot of the moon. Sometimes you have to decide to compromise or not get the shot at all. I think it worked out great.

Thanks for the wonderful replies all.
