    Default Trash the Dress (Reprise)

Well, the Sackville Photography Club, of which I am a member, held another Trash the Dress photo shoot. We had a number of lovely young ladies dress up to allow us the opportunity to learn how to work with a model.

I'll probably post a bunch but here are the first two so far.

I like the eyes through the hair in shot 1.

Thanks, Marko. It's definitely my current favourite from the day's events.

Nice work, Iggy. You are lucky you get to do this. Our photoclub prides themselves in glorious "nature" photography. And if I see another freaking crocus in the "botany" competition, I'll scream. So nice to work with people. Enjoy it! And it looks like you did!

I like shot #1 very much. I feel connected with the model, the composition is great, and the hair blowing across her face is very cool. I like your work in #2... the "staring into space contemplating the cosmological condition look" never does it for me, but that's my hangup.. and it's a nicely shot.

edit: I had to laugh at myself.. my second sentence is the classical compliment sandwich.

Thanks, Matt. I hope your club changes their program a bit this year so you get to avoid all those flowers

Thanks, Martin. I kind of agree with you as well. I'm not a super fan of that look but I also like to try and capture natural expressions. Brittany was sitting in the shade to take a break when I captured this one.
