I love the conceptual work here ... the scroll, the concerned look ... "where do I hide?" And on that thinking I find myself wanting more shadows here, less even lighting.
Not certain the slight sepia impresses me.

Is that a tear on her right cheek/jaw? Or a skin blemish? If she is crying then lighting that highlighted that would be needed I think.

I like the posture and pose.

I'm being super critical here of course because I know that's the level you need.

MA makes some good points. I have a bit of a problem with the location. That gate behind her is distracting me. The angled edge that mirrors the side of her head kind of just confuses me or something. The rest of it is excellent from where I sit but that gate bothers me for some reason.

For me, there is too much stuff that is taking away from her face/eyes. The diploma, her strange hand placement, the gate (as Iggy pointed out), and even her lace shirt are all competing with her face for the main attention of the shot.

***edit- I just realize that is a tear on her cheek with a trail from her eye. Like MA said, it needs enhancing because there are some many other strong points in the image ***

Thanks so much for the comments.
There is a slight tear on her cheek and i played with highlighting it more but it didn't look right.
I wasn't sure if the gate added to the environment but I hear everyone screaming distraction.
    Thx again.

The scroll suggests "diploma" for me - which makes the gate make sense as you see them about campus all the time. Regardless of that - personally I don't find that a distraction. I think tho, if the "tear" doesn't say "tear" I would use your digital bandaid and cover it up. I like MA suggestion of a little more shadowing as she does have a dramatic face. I think this is a wonderful image, Marko!
