    Default Polar Bear Dip 2012

Well, I invited some friends from the Sackville Photography Club (where I am a member) to help me photograph the 2012 Herring Cove Polar Bear Dip. A friend of mine, the organizer, had asked me to photograph the whole event and I thought it was too much for just me so I invited some friends.

We set up a studio in the church hall and encouraged everyone to get a portrait shot done after they registered for the jump. Everyone had a small piece of the puzzle and I thought I'd share some of the shots I got from the "studio session". I learned a lot through this experience and had a lot of fun.

I'll post a link to the complete album after we all post our photos but here are a few to wet your whistle.

They're coming... they're coming... I wasn't at the dock this year so the bikinis didn't show up until later. You'll get to see a few when I post the link to the full set.

    And thanks!

I set the album to public (though I also accepted the friend request) so everyone should be able to see it now.
