Old man looking older
I bought the old geezer a razor so the next photos of the old man should be shaven, well thats if he can find the well out back of the barn. Really showing the the age lines. Critiques are welcome on this photo even though it is not in the critique forum. been planning on doing some self portraits and finally getting on it.

The other one is nice but this one has more mood. Love the processing. My only annoyance in this otherwise excellent portrait is the crease in the cloth.

very cool A.L. - I prefer this one as well and I agree with iggy on all points. The lighting is also well done here. I'd love to see more including more frontal shots and a stare right into the lens.

Well there will be more coming. I find easier to photograph someone else than it is to do self portraits (something you also mentioned in another thread I believe Marko) which I have only done once before so this part of portrait photography is all new to me and I hope I can get more creative and more comfortable when doing self portraits. I am having fun though.

Intriguing portrait. You don't look that old, but very intense, committed and experienced. You have stories to tell I know. It's a very rich picture, very revealing in its detail. Obviously every detail means something, the shirt, the jewelry, the tattoo, the hair, the lines. I bet even the background cloth has a story. Thanks for sharing.

I love the light and the detail. It does feel very "personal". Thanks for sharing - for a lot of us that are normally on the other side of the camera, it is often uncomfortable to be the subject and we have a reluctance to share the image - so thank you
