    Default Prom Photos

Well, my daughter is at her prom right now and I've edited up some photos I took of her and her date today. I'm somewhat satisfied with them but not super happy with them as I think I could have done better had I the time to work. Without going into the whole crazy story of the day, I'll just tell you that I only had about 10-15 minutes to get the shots I got. :(

Great shots Iggy, especially #1 & 4, your daughter and date look comfortable in the shots.

Why is prom happening in the middle of the summer and on a Sunday?

Thanks, AT. I really don't understand the Sunday thing either but high school in Canada goes to the end of June. Graduation is on Thursday... more pics to follow.

Lovely set my friend, I like all of these, but especially number 4. those eyes are beautiful... That post coming out of her head on shot 2 is a slight annoyance... Nice work Iggy, especially considering your time constraint.

Portrait type pictures are certainly not my forte, how I will give it a stab at how they look to me.

    1. I find the smile of your daughter's date a little bit forced.

    2. Nice setting on the bridge, and they both look relaxed.

    3. I find the lean against the tree a little unnatural and uncomfortable.

    4. This one (along with 5 are my favourites). Nice relaxed expression and great bokeh for the background.

    5. Love that look back. It has the feel that, I'm a big girl now and I'm off to the next phase in my life.

Thanks, Richard. Interesting, I didn't even see the post until you mentioned it. :(

    1. Yes! She was only a semi-willing participant

    2. Last shot before they headed back to the limo and I think she was happy it was over.

    3. Did I mention she was only semi-willing?

    4. Thanks!

    5. Thanks.

They are all nice Iggy! Of course, you did very well as well given all the circumstances!
