Default SALA - South Australian Living Artists - pic heavy

Each year at this time we have 3 weeks of exhibitions by artists of all kinds within South Australia. Today was the last day and there was a street party with exhibitions and working artists. Here are few shots from the day.

Fab series, Love "artist 4", the concentration on the artists and the dreaming closed eyes of the canvas. A position of total trust. What a great shot. Also love the potter .... very nice.

Thanks guys. This was a little outside my normal comfort zone. I don't very often take portraits and I never approach people to ask if I may photograph them, like I did for these shots. I did enjoy it though.

In my experience (and i am introverted by nature)....when you get the stones to ask, people tend to say yes. My success rate in getting "yesses" is well over 90%.
Do it more often and it becomes less intimidating and builds confidence.

I was surprised at how positive most of the people were, so will definitely be doing it again

The whole set is excellent RM,. Can't pick a fave here as all so well done. You have captured the love, and dedication, to each's art so well.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
