Good, solid hit (Football photo)

This is a discussion on Good, solid hit (Football photo) within the People photography (portraits, sports etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; I've heard some complaining about the Canon 7D, but this camera just doesn't disappoint....

It's almost never the camera but the person behind it

That being said, this is an excellent action shot. Well done.

Perfect timing. I can even feel that hit.
I haven't heard anybody complain about their 7D. It's on my wish list.

    Nice action shot.

I love the 7D for sports shots - those extra couple of frames per second can really make a difference
I welcome all critique and comments on any of my photos

    Awesome capture Smiley. Perfectly timed.

I also loved my 7D's. (had two). An amazing camera, and is perfect for action, and animal photography, among two it excels at.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Thanks Hillbillygirl. I use it with the Canon 100-400 lens and together with the crop factor there's no part of the field that I can't reach. I'm just waiting for the new Canon 100-400 to surface. That one should be much faster, making my job that much easier.
