    I tried to make one but didn't come out too well. I don't have photoshop, just Lightroom and Gimp. I tried to make a "Night of the Living Dead" grainy style image.

    I think you did very well ... I am not sure if you can do 'overlays' in lightroom ... is so, try a texture, and see what happens. May help in your efforts.
