    Default Dramatic Sushi Shop Sniping

This is my girlfriend Rachel, she is not actually posing here, though this face does not look very "everyday."
There's something I like about the framing of her hair, the vivid colours and the "pose" itself.
Thought I'd post it and see what other people think!

Super cute girlfriend you got there!

In terms of critique - the image is very soft - was the original image less than 275 K?
I like the pose overall but the dark shadows under her eyes from the quite orange overhead lighting are not working for me I'm afraid.

The image was not under 275k unfortunately. I am not a huge fan of the overheads either too many shadows and it is quite vivid.

ahh okay - the forum compresses images that are uploaded directly and greater than 275K so that's why it is soft.
calling the image from another site like flickr - photobucket etc - won't compress the image.
