I do like the Victorian feel, and would be interested to see what Barefoot's B & W suggestion would look like?
This is a discussion on An Evening Stroll within the People photography (portraits, sports etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; I do like the Victorian feel, and would be interested to see what Barefoot's B & W suggestion would look ...
Really lovely image Iggy - Can't make up my mind if the lightpost is helping though. For me it also works w/out the post.

Thanks, everyone. I often avoid B&W unless the image screams B&W for me. This one whispers it. The yellow/sepia type tones speak more to me in this image which is why I left it in colour. I might post a B&W version just for fun.
Yes, Realist. I am glad I didn't muck it up
Thanks, Marko. I liked the light pole but I'm don't like the No Parking sign. Thought about cloning it out. I can see it works without the light pole as well but it's an old fashioned kind of light pole that works with the mood, I think. I think the sign is what's really been bothering me since I posted it... maybe I should wait longer before I post an image.
