Default Thin Ice (aka don't try this at home)

This fellow was fishing by the river, standing a little too close to the edge for my comfort level. As I walked around where he was standing I noticed the ice he was standing on had broken off and he was actually floating with the current, still casting into the river. I thought to myself that looks dangerous. And as I was leaving, a fire truck and the Fire Department river rescue truck and boat raced by me with sirens on. I didn't read about the incident the next day, but I wondered...coincidence? I think not.

Another nominee for a Darwin Award. Some people just don't get it. Nice pic of the cast in that second one though MBrager.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Indeed. Darwin Award is in order. Very well spotted and executed, Michael. Did you sell the pics to the Herald???
