I Can't Fix It - Self Portrait

I'm not entirely sure if you are lamenting on the erosion of gun rights, but I'm guessing that's what's going on here. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, you are correct on the gun rights...and also the erosion of many things here in the last ??how many years??

I like this self portrait, it's emotional and tells strong story.
My main comment would be that in this case I think it was a mistake to crop out part of your hand and your head. You cut part of the power of that gesture with the crop. hope that may help and just my opinion.

Thank you Marko. I did do some cropping in PP and I went back to look at the original raw file and in that I have the top of my first finger and rest of my head out of the frame. I visualized it as you have suggested and I think it might be an improvement. Never gave it much thought to think it would emphasize the gesture. I may do a retake to include all and without the chair and other background elements as AT pointed out.

In any case I think I got across the point I wanted to make with it the way it is by the feedback from you and AT that it is a strong and emotional image that clearly relates a story and feeling.
