    Default We Day

I volunteered to photograph We Day Atlantic here in Halifax, Nova Scotia this year. First year for this event. Had a blast and really enjoyed the event. Here's a link to my Flickr album from the event, https://www.flickr.com/photos/euloth...57675814848621, and a couple of highlights below.

For those who have not heard of We Day, it is a day put on by the We Organization to reward students for their efforts on the We Movement. Here is a link to their website: https://www.we.org/

In their words We Day is:

WE Day is the manifestation of the WE Movement. It fills stadiums around the globe. It’s live-streamed. It’s broadcast. It brings together world-renowned speakers and award-winning performers with millions of young people and families to celebrate and inspire another year of incredible change.

Really super set Iggy - I love them. The light works so well to create dramatic images.

I must ask though, what is "We Day". Here in Australia it is when we have had a lot of beer

Haha... yes, I have a number of those days here in Canada too!

Sorry for not explaining. I've added the details to the original post to save the next person from having to ask the same question. Look up ^^^^^^^

Runmonty - From what I know .... in Australia isn't every day "We Day". i.e have a lot of beer.

Iggy - What a great set. I really like that pose by Gord Downie in the first one. Is that Rick Hanson in the second shot.
