    Thanks marko...I wish it was sharper as well.
    I was having "adjusting for light issues" yesterday from the morning until the afternoon and trying to make adjustments withought getting the ISO up too much. My mistake here(I think) was that I had the 300mm set at 1/250shutter speed....
    I had it at 1/350 but it was just too freakin dark and I didn't want to bump the ISO past 800. I'm still trying to figure out exposure compensation but it doesn't work on a manual setting so I wasn't sure what to do really yesterday. Should I set it on a different priority mode and adjust for compensation? I'm still trying to learn the technical stuff here and having a bit of difficulty with it.
    Sometimes I feel like such a noob still.

    Nope. You should have stayed on manual and simply increased the exposure toward the plus side. Maybe +1/3 or 2/3 of a stop. This is KEY stuff to know so if it does not make 100% sense please let me know here or by PM.

    Exposure compensation only works in program modes like aperture priority. Had you already been in that mode, then yes you would have used EC and added the same +1/3 or +2/3 of a stop.

    Hope that helps - Marko

    Okay...HELP???!!!
    How do I do that?
    I found a noise reduction button while surfing though the buttons...that seems to help in high ISO situations.

    If you were taking shots continuously on the streets with different light.. (shade to sun) wouldn't it be better to use the Aperture mode?

    I tried reading and looking up how to adjust exposure in manual and according to my pentax k200D book it says I can't while in Manual mode? I can while in any other priority or program mode, but not in manual.
    I am going to The Camera Store today for on a something completely different subject and I am going to ask about this.

    I'm quite sure what Marko meant was for you to move up a stop or down a stop depending on the situation.

    For shutter speed here are the standard stops
    * 1/1000 s
    * 1/500 s
    * 1/250 s
    * 1/125 s
    * 1/60 s
    * 1/30 s
    * 1/15 s
    * 1/8 s
    * 1/4 s
    * 1/2 s
    * 1 s

    Correct me if I'm wrong here...
