good pics! It is tricky getting concert pics, but it helps when your seats are so close

Considering how eccentric Weezer is, the crossways angles of shooting are really quite effective. Very cool set!

Kat, I have to admit, it might have helped a little bit! I actually had a photographer's pass, so I got right up on by the stage with the pros. Pretty fun stuff!

Bambi, Weezer's an alternative rock band, they've had a few hits on mainstream radio.

I see Sidney's on the bass drum Jason...did he get a pass too and did the Weezer guys get to meet him?

Great shots also in tough lighting situations..!

Wow! Great shots! f4, ISO800 - what are you using for a lens on that puppy if you don't mind me asking.

Casil, no, Sidney didn't get to go to the show--but MTV.com will be coming to my house on Friday to film Sidney. They're going to put together some crazy piece where Sidney will "interview" Rivers Cuomo about the new album. The lighting was definitely a challenge. I wasn't sure how the shots would turn out using ISO 800, but anything lower just wasn't practical.

As far as the lens Iggy, it's just the standard kit lens 18-55mm /F4 that comes with the Rebel XTI. I'm hoping to upgrade sometime soon.
