Textured me

This is a discussion on Textured me within the People photography (portraits, sports etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; Well. Tried using those textures and I tell yah..not easy! Hard to find the right texture to the right photo..I ...

    Well. Tried using those textures and I tell yah..not easy! Hard to find the right texture to the right photo..I could be missing out on a step too though.

    This is the best I could get..the original photo was fine but wanted something different for a profile photo.. oh and yes..I did chop all the hair off

    This is an interesting one Kat and your eyes look great.
    Textures on portraits are iffy though, and IMO this texture is taking away from your beauty in this shot big time. The texture is the least flattering part of this image.

    Ha ha..alright. Profile photo it isn't

    I did get that vibe. One moment it would look cool..the next not. I guess when it doesn't look good all the time to you it just may not be!

    Just a thought..do you think you can do a podcast on this technique?

    I love the bright, green eyes! The texture ... not so much ... adds a masculine feel.

    Maybe another texture would look all right, but that one doesn't do much for me. It looks like it was probably a pretty good picture that you started with though.
