Default Picture from Peru a few years back

In a bit of a photographic slump lately--too much gray, rainy, snowy disgusting weather. So I thought I'd go back and edit some pictures that I took on our honeymoon in Peru a few years back.
I wish I had known more about photography back then. I had the camera set on low or medium quality so I wouldn't run out of space on my card, so the quality is awful if I go much larger than this size.
This has been a good exercise in practicing some post-production, though.

Those wacky Australian llamas! Gotta watch out for them.

Seriously though, we did run into a pretty nasty llama while we were there, we were trying to cross a stream, and he tried to spit at us. Here's a shot of him. He just looks sort of evil doesn't he?

Oh man do I know that look!!! I have a good friend who raises alpacas on Vancouver Island and you know when they are gonna hurl at you 'cuz they drop their lip like that right before they shoot out nasty horrible green stuff...and man they can shoot that stuff far...projectile hurl!!!
Funny we went visiting them one day and the dog was trying to figure out how to get into the pen....the little bugger finally squeeked under the fence and it was Chase running after the herd of about 8 alpacas in front of him around and around in circles...it looked like a ride! Weeeeeeeee!!!
My friends weren't too impressed but hey.... life happens and no animals were hurt...I think Chase was in it for the chase and wouldn't have a clue what to do if he actually caught one.

Cool shots Jason both of them but that last one gives me a laugh as I've been there done that!
