    I was using the flash in the camera and the camera to trigger the one that was about 2 feet away from them in a slightly different angle. Don't ask me what I had them at..I had them at so many settings..lol. That is why I'd like to get more info. I understand the +/- but not how and when to do it.

    Hi Kat,

    I'm trying to learn off camera lighting as well, the strobist is a good resource, and their are loads of free tutorials splattered over the web.

    As I try out stuff, I'm try and make quick diagrams of my set-ups so I can remember what worked for me and what didn't.
