Competition Portraiture.
For years I avoided or States Organizations Print Competition. Two reasons, you got to follow the rules and titleing ones work.
Well last year I finally entered my lst four prints. Two didn't make it in to the show as they were scored below average. However these two did quite well for me.
I was quite surprised.

This year all four prints made it into the show. And I did quite well with these two portraits.
It pays to enter these competitions. Of course now I have a goal of topping myself. A good friend of mine keeps getting the Best Professional Photographer of the Year Award and I'm after her. ;-)
