I just shot this yesterday as I had nothing to do on Sunday afternoon, so I decided to take my camera out for a drive with my friend and favourite model Nelli.

Love what is coming out so far!

This is all I will come up with. The first is an old weight scale. I saw this and it just reminded me of grandpa and Newfoundland. The second isn't old but will never be forgotten. An outfit one of my kids came home in from the hospital (I could of put up a million of those ) and the last is a bottle of Crown Royal. Note the date, a family thing of my husbands. That is all I have. All my stuff is at my moms house...

This looks like one of those 'Antique" portrait setups at a fair.
    I wish I had a 'favourite' model:(

This is an infamous old restaurant now closed down in the city. They had really good osso buco and the building was formerly a dairy way back in the old days.

Lol, I miss Victoria's. They played Bessie Smith and other old jazz legends and had great brunches as well. The decor was eccentric and based on Victorian style. I fear the building is on its last legs, though. :( There was an infamous gay bar in the basement which is now the Republic.

Apparently Goliath's infamous bath house is still there in the back too.
I miss Victoria's too. :( On Mondays they had a special... 2 dinners for the price of one.
Osso Bucco is braised veal shank in red wine sauce....mmmmmmm!

Now that I've done the obvious 'dig out the relics' shots I'm wracking my widdle brain trying to think of something different ... but not having much luck ... yet

Kat: I really like the shot of the weight scale! If only that pesky tree wasn't in the way. I sometimes have the same problem with those darn trees jumping into my shots right when I press the shutter button! :-)
There's alot of creative art you can do with that type of shot. If you can shoot it straight on or on a very slight angle (Without the tree) then post it into the "Post Processing" Thread and let us have a go at it! :-)
