Very nice! This begs for a closer capture with a very slow shutter speed!

I tried that too but I finally ended up with the dirt from my sensor becoming to conspicous. Especially, since when using lower shutter speed f/22 and below to use slower shutter speed.
but now I have cleaned my sensor and will try to take better pics next time around.

There's nothing wrong with the pictures you've taken, they're fine. I was simply thinking of other possibilities.

Yisehaq - I have seen other pictures of these waterfalls online, while researching your country (international adoption). These falls are absolutely breathtaking - as are most of the photos I've run across on Ethiopia. Thanks for sharing!

As for PP, I can never tell when enough is enough, so I pretty much used the camera's setting to desaturate(sp?) and used photobucket's sharpen option on it.

    Care for the original?
Sure I'd love to see the original!

I quite like this shot Yisehaq Very scenic - I might consider darkening the top of the photo (sky + mountians) though and the treed areas in the center of the photo and dodging the lower left side and lower right side.

To be honest, I prefer the colour in the original better; I think perhaps you've desaturated the copy too much. I wonder if perhaps your monitor colours are out of whack. Can you use another computer to view the pictures and see what they look like on it?

    Thanks kiley9806 and marko.

Marko I don't know how to selectively darken and dodge in cs2. Just started using cs2 after joining this forum. A little guidance please

BTW, I intended to use this and other images for HDR. I thought this was good because it has multiple areas to be exposed differently. Hope I am right.
