Abelardo Morell

Raivens post on Camera Obscura didn’t seem to go much beyond the example she provided. That’s a shame because it didn’t lead to the work of Abelardo Morell. Morell created Camera Obscuras in places such as motel rooms where the exposures could be as long as hours, days, or weeks.

Some of his work is in a book on contemporary masters I have on my shelf and it is fascinating. Follow the google link to view some of his creations.
