How to get the static Flickr URL

I struggled with linking to the new Flickr too. I am not sure if you specifically want a "static" link, but this is what I did to post my last image:

1 - clicked on the "share" icon,
2 - then the "pin" icon
3 - selected size and then
4 - selected & copied the code.
5- Posted the code directly in the body of my forum post.

Only think that sucks is that there is no more direct link to image on Flickr or the poster's Flickr page

Clicking on the image will take you to the Flickr page

One question Run, can I still view my "Original Size" image on Flickr? I cannot figure out how to do it.
