    Default Sedona and surrounding area

Hi all, I am off to sunny Arizona and of the month and I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips as to where the good spots are around Sedona. Planning to drive to Antelope Canyon, but other than that I would appreciate some suggestions. Anyone?

I was in Sedona years ago - You'll just drive into stuff, it's awesome.
Slide Rock State Park - check that out.

Well I did make it Slide Rock State Park ... umm, not warm enough to get into my swimsuit and do this .. grin .. but a neat place for sure ... and you are right, you stumble from one awesome place into another. Went on a hike at Turkey Creek. Did not even see the trail head; so this guy pulls up in a SUV, we asked him if he knew the area, andhe looked at us and said: if you don't, you'll get lost ... so follow me, I'll take you. turns out the guy was a botanist, teacher and taught survival classes. So we learned which plants to eat, which ones to use for headaches, how to make rope and fire with practically no tools at all ... what an amazing hike.
